How to output the RSSI value from the receiver to FPV when the transmitter is a T16D, T12D, T8FB, T8S, the flight controller is a PIX6, PIXHAWK, CrossFlight-CE, CrossFlight, CrossRace Pro, CrossRace, Mini Pix？

The equipment for this tutorial manual is:

Transmitter: T16D, T12D, T8FB, T8S

Receiver: R16SM, R8FM,R8EF, R8SM, R8XM, R7FG

Flight Controller: PIX6, PIXHAWK, CrossFlight-CE, CrossFlight, CrossRace Pro, CrossRace, Mini Pix

Step1:

Connect your aircraft/flight controller to your computer, and bind the transmitter T16D, T12D, T8FB, T8S to the receiver R16SM, R8FM,R8EF, R8SM, R8XM, or R7FG of the aircraft.

Step 2:

Open the Mission Planner of the flight controller and make sure the flight controller is well connected with the correct Baud Rate.

Step 3:

Set up the parameters as in the picture below:

into CONFIG/TUNING => Full Parameter List => Input RSSI to search => Change RSSI_CHANNEL TO 9 (because the channel of RSSI output is the default the CH9 of R8EF, R8SM, R8FM, R8F, or R7FG = > Change RSSI_TYPE to 2 => Write Params

Step 4:

When finished parameters are set up, move the transmitter to change the distance of the transmitter T16D, T12D, T8FB, T8S and the aircraft to see if the servo range of CH9 has changed. If changed, then the RSSI value output channel settings are a success.

You can check the picture below:into INITIALSETUP menu=> Radio Calibration => check if the servo of CH9 change depends on the movement of the T16D, T12D, T8FB, T8S
