Note: The 1.16 firmware version currently does not support optical flow. The official team is working to resolve this issue. If you need optical flow functionality, please upgrade to firmware version 1.15.

3. PX4 Firmware Upgrade Tutorial

(1) After installing QGroundControl, you can proceed with the firmware upgrade. Click the icon in the top left corner and select the Vehicle Configuration interface, as shown in the image below:

(2) In the firmware interface, follow the prompts to connect the flight controller to the computer via USB. Once the ground station detects the connection, a pop-up window will appear. In the pop-up window, check the "Advanced Settings" box, select "Custom Firmware" from the drop-down menu, and click OK. As shown in the image below:

(3) After clicking OK, a new pop-up window will appear. Select the downloaded firmware and click Open. As shown in the image below:

(4) Wait for the flight controller firmware to finish flashing.
